This is a wonderful example of the classic Japanese Type 92 Tetsubo ( "steel cap") army helmet, also colloquially called the tetsukabuto ( "steel helmet") by Japanese troops. Features include: Original metal star applied to front. Excellent complete three pad leather liner, without pads present and Japanese ink markings on interior. These look to include the dates 17 and 19 or Showa 17 and Showa 19, for the Western
