This excellent condition vintage wood paddle was used by Feldgendarmerie (Military Police), as well as civil police to direct vehicle traffic. The paddle is double faced metal head, with the distinctive German police red circle with the words "HALT POLIZEI" (STOP POLICE). The central Feldendarmerie eagle with swas were painted over after WW2 and remained in use by the West German Police. Made of wood and steel,
