Now this is a fantastic item with dual history. This image is a direct copy of a Civil War era Union Soldier who was a member of II Corps, as identified by the trefoil on his cap. This was a widely popular thing to have done in the years after the Civil War up to the turn of the century. Copies were made this way in order for families to have multiple pictures to display in their homes. It would appear that a little
