POINSETTIAS Hand Dyed on Sock Perfection - Ikat Yarn Angelina I used Peacock Feathers for

I used Peacock Feathers for my Metamorphosis Shawl pattern

I brought in a branch heavy with blossoms and really looked at each and every color

but when my daughter suggested Matcha Latte

It's a little different from my usual classical sources of inspiration

and deep magenta

POINSETTIAS Hand Dyed on Sock Perfection - Ikat Yarn Angelina I used Peacock Feathers forPoinsettias is one of my new Christmas colorways for 2023. It's an Ikat colorway with long sections of dark red punctuated by short sections of two shades of green. I included a sample hat to show how it looks knit up in stockinette. I dyed it on Sock Perfection, which is made of 80% extra soft merino and 20% nylon, making it perfect for socks or anything else you want to be machine washable and hard wearing.
