This is one of the scarcest pieces of Indian Wars equipment, the first and possibly the only example we will ever have for sale, the M1872 Valise bag. These were worn with the Pattern 1872 belt, braces, and haversack. This example has a great tarred front flap, though the edge trim is now heavily cracking and torn away. The straps are partially retained though some are gone. The interior leather border is stamped
