This is a very nice example of a War Merit Cross KvK 1st Class with Swords manufactured by Carl Poellath Mnz und Prgewerk (Mint & Embossing Plant) of Schrobenhausen. This early war example in Tombak still retains almost all of the frosted silver finish on the Maltese cross, with some tarnish patination in areas on the swords.
