Original British WWII Vickers Gun Brass Slide Collar Pin Antique Guns It was introduced in 1933Original Item: The Slide Assembly, No. 1 Mk I, on the Vickers gun provides a rolling surface to control the movement of the crank handle. The assembly consists of a small square plate that slides into the right side plate. The plate has a stout round pin permanently attached that serves as the axle for the roller. The roller in turn is retained by a collar, which is retained by a brass cotter pin (known in the British parts lists as a split pin).
