505th Parachute Infantry Regiment
this unit was formed in AH’s initialmilitary expansion by the enlargement of the 8th Infantry Regiment of the old Reichswehr
one of which still has the original spring clip attached
The crossguard does have a lot of wear overall
Most unusually this example is only HALF the size of Rum Jugs we normally encounter and we assume can only accommodate about half the content
Original German WWII M42 Army Heer Helmet with 56cm Liner & Chinstrap - stamped hkp64 British Militaria 505th Parachute Infantry RegimentOriginal Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice all original example of a German Model 42 Steel helmet, as issued to the Wehrmacht Heer (army). It is "untouched" since it was brought back, and we see no signs that any parts were ever swapped out. This stamped sheet steel construction helmet retains about 85% of its original paint, with overall wear consistent with use in service. There are some areas where the paint was scuffed or scraped down
