Just purchased from a large military show. This hand painted cloth flag is not marked with the usual battle quotes such as "Banzai", and "Good Luck for Bravery", but just appears to be names. There is a lot of writing on this flag, though it is difficult to read translate due to some of it being in grass writing. Sosho, or 'grass style', is a cursive style of Japanese calligraphy that is thought to reflect wind blowing
