From a Collection just acquired this is a magnificent Flintlock Pistol with Ball trigger and Ball Butt. The stock is fully inlaid with Mother of Pearl and brass inlays, almost all of which are present. It also has some nice silver inlaid on the lock plate. It never had a trigger guard and would be worn in a waist sash. The Ball butt is of an Ivory like bone, which has a wonderful aged patina of stress cracks from drying
