The Zuckerman helmet, officially designated the Civilian Protective Helmet, was a British helmet designed for use by civil defense organizations and the general public during World War II. It was researched and designed by Solly Zuckerman, Derman Christopherson and Hugh Cairns. This example is marked SFP, for Street Fire party, replaced later by the title 'Fire guard'.
