This is a very nice example of a War Merit Cross KvK 1st Class in Silver with swords, manufactured by Otto Schickle of Pforzheim. This early war example in Tombak shows frosted finish on silver maltese cross. Sharp details to contours and pebbles to internal cross arms. Pin back and maker stamped as issued L 15 (Otto Schickle) on the top of the pin. The cross still retains a lot of the silvering, with lovely oxide
