This will probably always be chewy and I have put the drinking window earlier than it might otherwise be to avoid the risk of this drying out with extended bottle age

fresh peach

While it can be appreciated young

Rich and opulent for Petrus (maybe the most opulent that Jean-Claude Berrouet ever made) and yet it retains a sense of symmetry and freshness on the finish that I think is unique to this Pomerol

tannic and structured

Pegau, Chateauneuf Du Pape Reservee other_regions This will probably always beOne of my favorite wines, the 2012 Chteauneuf du Pape Cuvee Rserve is a classic. Beautiful on the nose, with notions of ground pepper, wild herbs, minerality and smoked plum and dark fruit, it s medium to full bodied, nicely concentrated and has plenty of tannin that comes through on the finish. Similar in style to a lighter weight 2010, drink this beauty anytime over the coming 12 15 years.
