Description

The 1985 Rauzan-Ségla is a vintage that I have tasted several times from bottles I picked up cheaply some years ago

Note that at least some patience will be required

There is a borderline tannic quality that detracts mildly from the overall sense of refinement and overall

with the firm acidity and chalky mouthfeel creating a structured frame for the vivid range of pureed raspberry and steeped black cherry

with a mix of fruit and spice on the lingering finish
