Fonbadet Vintage:2009 lanolin and brown spice-scented bouquetWhile not up to current vintages, the 2009 Chteau Fonbadet is nevertheless a beautiful Paulliac, offering textbook notes of darker currant fruits, green tobacco, cedar, and spice. Medium bodied, elegant, and mature, it has ripe tannins, rock solid overall balance, and just a charming, complex, balanced style. It's fully mature but will have a gradual evolution over the coming decade.
