easy to like Pomerol is sweet

Wafting from the glass with aromas of blackberries

(from vines in Loächausses planted in 1989 and 1995)

but unlike vintages of ten years ago

Much fresher and lighter than most

Benjamin Leroux, Volnay Santenots Vintage:2019 easy to like Pomerol is(from Les Plures). Moderate reduction masks the nuance of the fruit though there is both good tension and freshness to the beautifully detailed and lightly stony medium bodied flavors that possess a seductive, even sophisticated, texture while delivering excellent persistence on the balanced though very firm finale. This is excellent and well worth considering provided you intend to allow for at least mid term cellaring.
