with very friendly raspberry ganache
There is an abundance of dry extract that makes this seem less firmly structured than it is but make no mistake
(from Les Pougets in Aloxe-Corton)
It is another superb Barolo from Giacomo Conterno
Stately length
Propieta Sperino, Lessona Brut Zero with very friendly raspberry ganache2008 was a cold and difficult vintage, but the wine, first tasted in 2013, is holding up well and shows no astringency. The colour is scarcely evolved and the nose is surprisingly lush, showing bright and juicy cherry fruit. The palate has more weight than Uvaggio but it's supported by good acidity that gives persistence and a finish that's elegant and silky.
