An impressive 1er that is highly recommended

This is also markedly ripe though with a different fruit profile as here it is more white than yellow with its aromas of pear liqueur

intense and concentrated big-bodied flavors also exhibit the same very fine tannins as the rest of the range with a hugely long finish that is less austere than is typical

Michel Lafarge, Meursault Vendanges Selectionees Vintage:2015 There is ample minerality suffusing(from En Marcausse). This is aromatically similar to the straight Meursault but with more floral elements that include carnation and lilac. On the palate the medium bodied flavors are clearly denser with a beautifully textured, caressing and seductive mouthfeel, all wrapped in a sneaky long and impeccably well balanced finale. This could use better depth but the underlying material is clearly present for that to occur in time.
