Funkadelic vs. Moodymann: Cosmic Slop / Let's Make It Last Vinyl 12" shop pick but I'm not complainin' -One for the skaters. Official issue of Kenny Dixon Jr.s super funky edit of Funkadelics Cosmic Slop (a slightly different edit was released a few years ago on his KDJ imprint). Moodymanns version extends the original psych funk classic to nearly 10 minutes and ramps up the bongos. Side B sees Moody taking on another highlight from the Cosmic Slop LP, Lets Make It Last, this time under the name his mama gave him but in similarly restrained fashion.
