This too is a knock-out and a one that should evolve glacially over a 20 to 30-year period as it’s even a bit firmer than the Chambertin

crisp yellow orchard fruit

fresh pastry

and this was the most expressive bottle that I've drunk to date

(two-thirds of the vines were planted in 1912 and the remainder in 1973)

Ridge, Geyserville Vintage:2013 This too is a knock-outThe 2019 Geyserville marks a pretty huge step up in this range. What a wine! Black cherry, plum, chocolate, cloves, menthol and licorice blast across the palate. Deep and saturated, with tremendous concentration, the 2019 Geyserville is a wine to cellar for at least a few years. Today, it is positively stunning.
