A notably ripe nose is composed by notes of dark currant
or even parts of vineyards
This is ever-so-slightly riper than the Bienvenue with a mix of white and yellow orchard fruit
power and weight yet no heaviness as the acid/fruit balance is impeccable
A classic Chambolle that should make for a lovely villages
Jean-Marie Fourrier, Chambolle Musigny Aux Echanges Vv Size:6x750ml A notably ripe nose isA fresh but restrained nose is completely different as its less spicy and more floral with lovely and airy notes of both red and dark currant scents. There is good delineation to the vibrant middle weight flavors that exude a fine minerality on the firm, balanced and lingering finish. This does not yet possess superior complexity but my predicted range assumes that it will develop based on the quality of the underlying material. (89 92) 2021+
