Frerejean Freres, Cuvee des Hussards Brut Vieilles Vignes other_regions Rich and round

Rich and round

profound and moving

There is excellent volume and concentration to the broad-shouldered and overtly muscular flavors that brim with both dry extract and minerality

The 1999 d'Issan has a perfumed bouquet with wilted violet petals infusing the redcurrant and cranberry scents

While there is still a moderate amount of unresolved tannins remaining

Frerejean Freres, Cuvee des Hussards Brut Vieilles Vignes other_regions Rich and roundOffering up aromas of candied citrus peel, hazelnuts, dried white flowers and apples, the 2012 Brut Premier Cru Cuve des Hussards Vieilles Vignes is medium to full bodied, fleshy and enveloping, with an open and expressive core, lively acids and a youthfully frothy mousse. It's showing well.
