Germany. Westphalia. 50 million marks. 1923 Gun shot wound cheek IIThis issue was produced as 'Notgeld' (emergency money) at a time when inflation was out of control in post war Germany. It had little practical value as a coin at the time and was more a commemoration of strong leadership in Germany in difficult times. Now regarded by many as a commemorative medal. 44. 5mm. Good very fine. Scarce and unusual.
