Emmanuel Darnaud, Crozes-Hermitage Trois Chenes Vintage:2016 the nose is markedly less

the nose is markedly less expressive though with noticeably more Chablis character present on the green and yellow fruit and floral-scented aromas

even a trifle phenolic on the finish in its youth

attractive flavors that finish abruptly on the palate

with a velvety texture and soft acidity

spicy and ripe red berry fruit liqueur-like aromas

Emmanuel Darnaud, Crozes-Hermitage Trois Chenes Vintage:2016 the nose is markedly lessShows a sappy, dense fruit core, with kirsch and plum paste flavors rolled together, while licorice snap, sweet tobacco and a tarry streak assert themselves through the finish. Drink now through 2030. 1,600 cases made, 150 cases imported.
