Asian spices

Tasted from a bottle from my personal cellar

This isn’t quite as tight as the Chatenière but it should also reward a few years of bottle age

dark red and black fruit tones that sway in the glass with aromas of crème de cassis

and it still retains some of the typical wildflower fragrance which characterises this wine’s aromatic profile

Tour Maillet other_regions_italy Asian spicesFeatures good density but remains tight, with dark currant, fig and blackberry fruit balled up by charcoal tinged grip. Clove, ganache and espresso notes fill in on the finish, which should stretch out with cellaring. Best from 2014 through 2024. 1,083 cases made. JM
