dark chocolate and toasted espresso
as the next vintage that is scheduled for release
I very much like the overall sense of harmony and depth and as good as the regular cuvée is there is just another dimension present here
scorched earth and graphite add to a sense of gravitas as this dark
elegant and refreshing with a beautiful quiet intensity and great freshness
Robert Chevillon, Nuits Saint Georges Chaignots Vintage:2016 dark chocolate and toasted espresso(a blend of 60 and 40 year old vines). Deeper register aromas of earthy but spicy dark berry fruits and a touch of animale leads to serious, dense and relatively powerful flavors that culminate in a dusty, mouth coating and admirably persistent finish. This doesnt have the style of the Bousselots but its appealing in its way. Its interesting how these two vineyards, which abut one another, give completely different results. (89 91) 2012+
