Impeccably balanced for its size
Neither fined nor filtered
and a lemon-pith note bringing refreshment to the finish
combining the spicy character with the minerality
with latent fruit to balance the structure
Joaquin, Piante Lapio Fiano other_regions_italy Impeccably balanced for its sizeBtonnage and aged in chestnut and acacia. Deep honey colour. Still has some fruit admittedly in a corset of chewiness. I think I'd prefer to drink a more youthful version. But well done for trying and adding to the Fiano canon. (JR)
