Jean-Marc Pillot, Chassagne Montrachet Chenevottes Size:6x750ml A gorgeous and ultra-elegant nose(from Chenevottes proper). A discreet application of wood influence is present on the ripe and fresh aromas of rosemary oil, just sliced citrus and essence of pear. The rich and generously proportioned medium bodied flavors exhibit very fine punch on the youthfully austere and almost tannic finale that imparts a borderline rustic feel to it. This very solid effort will need at least a few year of keeping to round out.
